GOOGLE BRINGS NEW AI FEATURES TO ANDROID📲
What’s new? Google just launched new AI features for Android 16, including AI-powered notification tools, deeper customization options, and easier built-in parental controls.
What are the new features?
AI notification summaries give you quick, at-a-glance versions of long messages or group chats.
Notification organizer automatically sorts and silences low-priority alerts so you’re less distracted.
New customization tools let you change icon shapes, apply themed icons across apps, and use an improved dark mode that works even on apps without a native dark theme.
On-device parental controls allow parents to set screen-time limits, schedule downtime, block or limit certain apps, and grant extra time directly from the child’s device.
Family Link integration offers added features like location alerts, school-time settings, and purchase approvals.
GOOGLE AI NOW HELPS YOU DETECT SCAMS ⛔️
What’s new? Google just added a tool that uses Circle to Search and Google Lens to help you quickly check whether a suspicious message is actually a scam.
How does it work? Scammers increasingly send fake texts through phones, messaging apps, and social media, often asking for money or pushing shady links. Google’s new feature lets you highlight or screenshot any sketchy message and have AI analyze it instantly. On Android, you can long-press the home button and circle the text to get a scam assessment. On both Android and iOS, you can screenshot the message, open Google Lens in the Google app, and tap the image. Google’s systems then pull information from the web and use AI to identify red flags, showing you an overview, guidance, and recommended next steps.
Why should you care? Scam messages are getting more sophisticated, and it’s easy to fall for one when you’re busy or stressed. This tool gives everyday users a quick, reliable way to verify suspicious messages, helping prevent fraud and protect personal and financial information.

AWS DROPS AI AGENTS FOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT 🦾
What’s new? AWS has unveiled “frontier agents,” a new class of autonomous AI agents that act as extensions of your software development team.
Want the details? AWS’s new frontier agents are designed to handle complex, long-running engineering tasks without constant supervision. These agents work toward goals rather than single prompts, scale across many tasks at once, and operate independently for hours or even days. The first three agents launched by AWS are:
Kiro Autonomous Agent: A virtual developer that maintains context, learns from your workflow, and independently completes coding tasks across repositories.
AWS Security Agent: A virtual security engineer that reviews designs, scans code for risks, and performs rapid, on-demand penetration testing.
AWS DevOps Agent: A virtual operations expert that diagnoses incidents, pinpoints root causes, and suggests improvements to reliability and performance.
Why does this matter? Frontier agents shift AI from assisting with small tasks to autonomously delivering real engineering outcomes. For developers, that means less busywork and fewer bottlenecks; for companies, it means building software faster, with stronger security and more reliable systems—no matter the team’s size.
