Our AI tool picks of the day:
YOU CAN NOW BUY YOUR GROCERIES WITH GEMINI 🛒
What’s new? Walmart shoppers can now browse and buy directly through Google’s AI, Gemini, without ever leaving the chat.
How does it work? Users can discover products, build a shopping cart, and check out—all inside a chat with Gemini. The service connects Walmart’s and Sam’s Club’s full inventory, pricing, and delivery options to Google's platform, and it uses a new system called the Universal Commerce Protocol to make checkout seamless.
“Customers will be able to experience everything they love about Walmart directly in the Gemini app.”
Why should you care? This makes shopping conversational. No more trips to the grocery store—just chat with Gemini.

GOOGLE REMOVES AI OVERVIEWS FOR HEALTH-RELATED SEARCHES 🙃
What’s going on? Google has removed AI Overviews from certain health-related search results after a Guardian investigation found many of them to be misleading.
Want the details? The Guardian reported that when users searched for things like “normal range for liver blood tests,” Google’s AI Overview gave answers that ignored key differences like age, sex, or ethnicity—factors that can significantly affect medical test results. After the story broke, AI Overviews no longer appeared for those specific queries. However, similar searches using slightly different wording could still trigger AI-generated answers, at least for a while. Google says it won’t comment on specific removals but confirmed it is working on broader improvements and that clinicians had reviewed the flagged responses.
Why should you care? Health information needs to be accurate and personalized, not generic. If people rely on oversimplified AI answers, they could misinterpret test results and delay getting real medical help. This whole situation comes amidst OpenAI’s release of ChatGPT Health, an AI-powered personalized health hub built into the ChatGPT platform.
META GOES NUCLEAR WITH AI ⚡️
What’s up? Meta announced major deals to extend the life of three nuclear power plants and support new advanced nuclear technologies, aiming to secure clean, reliable energy for its AI-powered data centers.
Want the details? The company signed agreements with Vistra, TerraPower, and Oklo to expand energy production and build new nuclear infrastructure in Ohio and Pennsylvania. These projects will add up to 6.6 gigawatts of clean electricity by 2035, powering Meta’s growing network of data centers—including a major AI hub in New Albany, Ohio. The deals also support next-gen reactor development and create thousands of construction and long-term energy jobs.
Why does this matter? AI systems require massive amounts of power. By investing in nuclear, Meta is locking in a stable, zero-carbon energy source to fuel its AI ambitions while helping modernize the U.S. electric grid.
