GOOGLE ENGINEER MAKES WORLD’S FIRST AI DRESS 👗
Q: What is the difference between a well dressed man on a unicycle and a poorly dressed man on a bicycle?
A: Attire. 🛞
What’s new? Google software engineer Christina Ernst shared a video showcasing her unique creation dubbed the “world’s first AI dress.”
What is the dress? The dress is adorned with robotic snakes programmed to detect and stare at people. In the video (above), she explains how she built and programmed the snakes and shares a few of her failed prototypes. She has also shared multiple videos in the past outlining different phases of the design process.
What do people think? The video, with almost 3 million views, garnered mixed reactions. Despite pushback on the dress’s tech-savvy design, one commenter stated, “The people who are ‘disappointed by this’… are we seeing the same video? I’m sorry but this is amazing. Looking forward to seeing everyone else build their robot snake dresses.”
APPLE INTELLIGENCE COMING TO VISION PRO 🕶️
Apple is bringing Apple Intelligence to Vision Pro next year, featuring an upgraded Siri and advanced AI tools, according to Bloomberg.

Q: Why did the boy choose the apple over the pear?
A: He liked the apple butter. 🍎
What’s up? Apple is bringing Apple Intelligence to Vision Pro next year, featuring an upgraded Siri and advanced AI tools. However, it’s unlikely this will make the product successful.
What are the new features? The upcoming visionOS 2 will include a “spatialize” option, converting 2D photos into 3D experiences. It will also include more voice activated activities. Additionally, Apple will offer a “Go Deeper” option, which will allow potential buyers to test office features, watch videos, and explore photos in-store. The company hopes this will enhance the sentimental value of the device, leading to more sales.
What’s wrong with the Vision Pro? Apple projected the Vision Pro, priced at around $3,500, to sell 800,000 units in the first year. In reality, that number is now anticipated to be only 450,000. Compare this to 73 million iPads sold in the first year of its release. To save sales, Apple is trying to make this new integration look like an exciting advancement in the Vision Pro, but these minor upgrades are not going to get the job done. One of the major reasons for this is that these integrations are coming a year after the announcement of Apple Intelligence. This means that a year from now, the clunky Vision Pro will be “last year’s” tech still priced as a premium product. Without a cheaper alternative with faster integrations, the Vision Pro will probably remain a niche product, with Apple potentially shifting focus to lightweight AR glasses in the future.
“Apple’s Vision Pro is amazing but nobody wants one.”
INTEL RELEASES COST-EFFECTIVE AI CHIPS 🦾
We have intel about Intel. 💾
What’s new? Intel announced its new Xeon 6 processors at the Computex tech conference in Taiwan.
What does this chip do? The Xeon 6 offers better performance and power efficiency for high-intensity data center workloads compared with Xeon 5.
Why is this significant? Intel is looking to “chip” away at Nvidia’s market share by shipping more cost-efficient AI chips. This includes the new Xeon 6, the Gaudi 3 processor released two months ago, and the Lunar Lake processors for AI PCs coming later this year.
“Customers are looking for high performance, cost-effective GenAI training and inferencing solutions. They want choice. They want open software and hardware solutions and time-to-market solutions at dramatically lower TCOs [total cost of ownership].”
