It understands what’s on a page, follows links, fills in info, and can even apply discount codes — all while keeping you in the loop and asking for confirmation on important steps.

Why should you care? This shift turns Chrome from a simple web browser into a real assistant. Instead of juggling tabs, you can ask Gemini (with Auto browse) to do the heavy lifting — saving time and making the web work for you.

What’s up? A new study from the University of Phoenix found that integrating AI into coursework improved student learning and job-related skills.

Want the details? Researchers focused on a five-week environmental science course for nontraditional adult learners. They followed a structured process to build AI into the curriculum. Students completed tasks like using AI tools to ask better questions or rephrase scientific content for different audiences, simulating real workplace needs. Industry advisory councils helped shape the skills taught, ensuring they matched what employers actually look for. Progress was tracked using detailed grading rubrics, student reflections, class discussions, and end-of-course surveys. The results showed students improved in both course goals and transferable job skills, including consulting, presenting, and problem-solving.
