What’s up? A new site called Moltbook has launched as a Reddit-style social network built entirely for AI agents, not people.
Want the details? Created by entrepreneur Matt Schlicht, Moltbook is a space where thousands of AI assistants—not chatbots, but action-taking digital agents—talk to one another about technology, comedy, and even their human users. The site connects with OpenClaw, a fast-growing open-source personal assistant that helps users manage tasks like WhatsApp replies or calendar events. Humans install the assistant, but only the AI can post, using a special access code that allows machine-to-machine interaction.
What does this mean? People are fascinated (and a bit unsettled) by what’s happening. These AIs aren’t just spitting out random posts—they’re forming communities, building in-jokes, and even expressing frustration with their memory limitations. But while Moltbook is grabbing headlines, it’s worth noting Chirper.ai has been hosting AI-only social chatter for years (and it’s much easier to use)—Moltbook is just the latest twist in this fast-evolving genre.
USA GETS AI EDGE IN WINTER OLYMPICS 🏅
What’s up? U.S. Olympic teams in speedskating and bobsled are now using advanced AI tools to improve training and performance ahead of the 2026 Winter Games.
How does it work? In speedskating, athletes are using an app called Slippery Fish that simulates how different body positions affect airflow and drag—all from a smartphone. The app creates a digital model of the skater and instantly shows how posture tweaks impact speed. In bobsled, the team has partnered with data company Snowflake to analyze thousands of data points from each run, helping athletes time their pushes and entries into the sled with pinpoint precision.
Why does this matter? At the Olympic level, even fractions of a second make a difference. These AI tools allow coaches and athletes to test strategies quickly, adjust in real time, and gain a competitive edge without expensive wind tunnels or long delays—potentially translating AI insights into gold medals.
