AI CAN PREDICT EARTHQUAKES?😳

A collaboration between researchers at Harvard and Google have created a system using AI which might have the ability to predict earthquakes.

The system these researchers have developed uses machine learning to detect earthquake indication patterns by allowing AI to analyze data from seismic sensors and satellite images. 🛰

Although this research is in the early stages, it could be a dramatic breakthrough in earthquake prediction!

BILL GATES SAID WE HAVE 18 MONTHS TO LIVE? … JUST KIDDING! 🤔

Bill Gates did not say we have 18 months to live, but he does agree that AI is moving very quickly and could change the course of literary education! At the ASU+GSV Summit in San Diego, Gates said, “AIs will get to that ability to be as good a tutor as any human ever could.”🤓

Many writers use ChatGPT to edit or improve their writing already, and it is possible that it could provide tutoring in this area to many people, including young students, who would otherwise not have tutoring available to them.

Gates believes that ChatGPT does have area to improve, particularly in reading and recreating human language, but says it could be used as an easily-accessible tool to effectively tutor writers of all kinds! In fact, Gates is willing to claim that ChatGPT is the most important advance in technology since 1980!

ROBOT DOCTORS?👩‍⚕️ NOT REALLY… BUT CLOSE!

Are robots smarter than humans? You can decide that for yourself… But regardless, robots have eyes of their own.

Doctors have begun using AI to help analyze medical images like MRIs and X-rays, and it turns out the system can detect irregular patterns in the images which are difficult for the human eye to catch! 👀

Some hospitals using this tech include Massachusetts General Hospital, Stanford University Hospital, and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center! 🏥

It could be the case that AI will be instrumental in catching conditions like heart disease, neurological disorders, and even cancer earlier than we have ever been able to before!
