OPENCLAW CREATOR JOINS OPENAI 🤝

What’s up? Peter Steinberger, the creator of the viral AI assistant OpenClaw, has joined OpenAI to help build the next generation of personal AI agents.

Want the details? OpenClaw, previously known as Clawdbot and Moltbot, recently gained attention for promising to be the “AI that actually does things.” Instead of just answering questions, it can manage calendars, book flights, and even interact with other AI assistants online. The name changed twice — first after a legal concern over similarities to Anthropic’s Claude, and later simply because Steinberger preferred the new branding. In a blog post, the Austrian developer said he could have turned OpenClaw into a large company but chose to join OpenAI instead. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said Steinberger will help “drive the next generation of personal agents,” while OpenClaw will continue as an open-source project supported by OpenAI.

Why should you care? AI is quickly moving from chatbots to assistants that take real actions on your behalf. If successful, these “personal agents” could handle everyday digital tasks for millions of people — saving time and reshaping how we interact with technology.

SPORTS BETTING PLATFORM ROLLS OUT “AI BETTING ASSISTANT” 👀

Image: FanDuel

What’s going on? FanDuel has officially rolled out AceAI, the first generative AI chat tool built directly into a sports betting app. The feature was in a limited “closed beta” test for most of 2025, but has now rolled out to mostly all users.

How does it work? FanDuel created AceAI to act like a smart betting assistant inside the FanDuel Sportsbook app. Users can type or speak questions into a chat, asking for player stats, team trends, or help building specific bets. The tool quickly pulls relevant data and shows available wagers, making it easier to research and place bets in one place. AceAI only responds after a user asks a question, and it includes built-in safeguards to detect potential responsible gaming concerns. If it notices risky language or behavior, it can provide resources or alert FanDuel’s responsible gaming team.

Why is this important? Sports betting apps are becoming more interactive and personalized, with targeted promos and more. AceAI could make the betting experience even more personalized and also make it easier. However, as more people start relying on AI for betting guidance, massive ethical concerns and dangers loom.
