OPENAI IS “ON TRACK” TO RELEASE AI DEVICE IN 2026 🦾

What’s up? OpenAI says it’s “on track” to unveil its first physical device in the second half of 2026.

What will it be? While details remain under wraps, the device is being developed in partnership with former Apple design legend Jony Ive. Past hints suggest it may be a small, screenless, wearable gadget—possibly a pin or earpiece—that interacts with users using AI. CEO Sam Altman has called it more “peaceful” than a smartphone and surprisingly simple to use. Ive and Altman have also claimed that people will be tempted to “lick and bite” the device… whatever that means!

Why is this significant? OpenAI’s move into hardware could redefine how we interact with AI. If successful, it might shift us away from screen-heavy devices toward more natural, less distracting ways of accessing information and communicating with technology.

IBM DROPS “ENTERPRISE ADVANTAGE” 📎

Image: IBM

What’s new? IBM has launched Enterprise Advantage, a new service that helps companies quickly create and manage their own AI platforms using tools and expertise already proven inside IBM.

How does this work? With Enterprise Advantage, companies can redesign workflows, integrate AI into existing systems, and scale AI applications—without switching cloud providers or rebuilding their tech from scratch. The service works with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, IBM watsonx, and both open- and closed-source models. It combines IBM’s consulting expertise with technology from IBM’s own AI-powered internal platform, which has improved productivity by up to 50% in over 150 client projects.

Why does this matter? Many businesses want to use AI but don’t know how to get started or scale it effectively. IBM’s new service offers a ready-made path using proven tools and expert guidance—helping organizations unlock real value from AI faster and with less risk.
