OPENAI RELEASES GPT-5.3 INSTANT 🤖

What’s new? OpenAI has released GPT-5.3 Instant, an update to ChatGPT’s default model meant to make everyday chats smoother and more consistently helpful.

Want the details? GPT-5.3 Instant targets the “feel” of conversations — tone, relevance, and flow. It aims to answer directly with fewer dead ends, fewer overly cautious disclaimers, and fewer unnecessary refusals when a safe answer is possible. When ChatGPT uses the web, it’s better at pulling key facts, combining them with reasoning, and avoiding long, loosely related link-dumps. OpenAI also reports lower hallucination rates than GPT-5.2, with and without web browsing.

“More accurate, less cringe.”

-OpenAI

Why should you care? People judge AI by whether it helps in real moments, not by test scores. By cutting friction — preachy preambles, awkward tone, and needless refusals — GPT-5.3 Instant should feel faster to use, easier to trust, and better for everyday questions, writing, and search-backed answers.

CLAUDE NOW REMEMBERS CHATS, EVEN ONES YOU HAD WITH OTHER CHATBOTS 🧠

Image: Anthropic

What’s new? Anthropic is now offering Claude’s memory feature to users on its free plan, along with a new tool that lets people import memories from other AI chatbots.

How does it work? Claude can now remember details from your past conversations and use them to give more personalized answers. When you enable memory, the chatbot can reference earlier chats to better understand your preferences, projects, or work style. Users can pause memory, delete it entirely, or manage exactly what Claude remembers in the settings. Anthropic has also introduced a memory import tool that allows you to copy context from other chatbots like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Copilot and transfer it into Claude. Within about 24 hours, Claude processes that information and adjusts its responses accordingly.

Why does this matter? Memory makes AI feel more like an ongoing assistant instead of a one-time tool. It also lowers the barrier to switching platforms. As competition heats up in the AI space, features like this could shape which chatbot people trust and rely on daily.
