WALMART USES AI TO TRANSFORM OPERATIONS 🦾

Q: Why do Instagram influencers enjoy shopping at Walmart so much?
A: They just can't get enough of the “self-checkout.” 🤳
What’s new? Walmart is now using AI to help streamline their product organization.
How is Walmart using AI? When managing inventory, Walmart employees would previously have to memorize where everything is and where it is supposed to be placed within the store. Now, an AI-powered app tracks the inventory for the employees within the store and on the trucks during deliveries, making their jobs much easier. AI is also being used to track things like freezer doors that are left open and to monitor the temperature of certain food items. As one executive said, “With the help of AI, we are transforming our store and our supply chain operations.”
What does this mean? As the nations’s largest private employer, Walmart is looked to as an example for other companies to follow. So this AI adoption by Walmart could be a large indication for what is to come in other stores worldwide.
LEAKED INFO ON AI JOB-FINDING FEATURE 👀

Tired of your job? AI has a new solution via LinkedIn … But it’s a secret, so don’t tell anyone! 🤫
What’s the secret? LinkedIn, the employment-based social media platform, is working on a feature called “LinkedIn Coach.” This feature will serve as an AI assistant that helps users “apply for jobs, learn new skills, and find more ways to connect” with their network. This will also allow the user to better utilize cover letter and resume generators which can be personalized to specific job opportunities.
What implications will this have? This feature will be exclusive to LinkedIn users, so this could draw some more attention for the platform and add to the competitive and outdated job-finding tools market. Hunting for a job can sometimes be as difficult, if not more difficult, than working the job itself. So hopefully this innovation will initiate easier processes for job hunting, making it a more efficient and shorter process.
ONE INDUSTRY AI CANNOT REPLACE 🙏
AI’s use in religious services worldwide is becoming more prevalent, but studies are showing that as AI is implemented more and more, people are becoming less and less interested. 🤖
What’s up? A study by researchers has found that exposure to robot preachers “undermines religious commitment.”
What was the research? These researchers conducted three separate case studies in Kyoto, Singapore, and the United States, analyzing peoples’ responses (from various religions) to robotic preaching or AI-generated services. Their findings? Every single time, there was a major drop off in participation and attendance when AI was involved compared to human leadership. Joshua Conrad Jackson, one of the authors of the study, said, “Our research suggests that people feel less commitment towards their religious identity and their place of worship when sermons are composed by LLMs, suggesting that preachers who use ChatGPT to write sermons may alienate their congregants (unless they can keep their source of inspiration a secret).”
Why has AI been unsuccessful in religion? AI, while exceptional at performing intricate tasks and analyzing data, lacks the essence of genuine human experiences and sentiments. Religious practices, rites, and rituals evoke emotions that forge a unique bond between individuals and their beliefs, and the emphasis by many religions on authentic community could prove somewhat immune to the AI surge.
