META AI IS STALKING YOUR FACEBOOK PAGE 👁️
Facebook is hiring, but there is no need to apply. They already know everything about you. 😃
What’s new? Meta AI can now learn details about you from Facebook and Instagram to personalize its responses in chats.
Want the details? Meta AI will now use information from across Meta’s apps to personalize responses, drawing on data like your Facebook profile or Instagram activity. This integration promises tailored recommendations, such as crafting bedtime stories based on your kids’ favorite themes or food recommendations based on your allergies or interests. Additionally, users on Facebook, Messenger, and WhatsApp can now ask Meta AI to “remember” details, like hobbies, dietary preferences, or interests. For example, if you’ve shared that you’re vegan, Meta AI will consider that when offering recipe suggestions. These memories are private and deletable at any time, and the feature won’t apply to group chats.
Why is this important? Personalized AI is the future, where chatbots don’t merely provide generic answers to questions but actually tailor responses to users. However, as AI begins to learn more about us to tailor responses, worries about data privacy are emerging. And Meta’s track record with handling user data doesn’t help the cause.
OPENAI INTRODUCES CHATGPT GOV 🇺🇸
We are one step closer to an AI president … 🤖
What’s new? OpenAI has introduced ChatGPT Gov, a specialized version of ChatGPT tailored for U.S. government agencies.
What’s the point? ChatGPT Gov works by offering government agencies a secure, customizable platform to access OpenAI’s AI models while maintaining strict compliance with security and privacy standards. Agencies can deploy ChatGPT Gov in their own cloud environments using Microsoft Azure’s commercial cloud or Azure Government cloud. This allows them to maintain full control over their data and ensure compliance with stringent security frameworks like FedRAMP High, IL5, CJIS, and ITAR. Self-hosting ensures that sensitive, non-public data stays within the agency’s control.
“We’re building AI to help people solve hard problems, and we see enormous potential for these tools to support the public sector in tackling complex challenges—from improving public health and infrastructure to strengthening national security. By making our products available to the U.S. government, we aim to ensure AI serves the national interest and the public good, aligned with democratic values, while empowering policymakers to responsibly integrate these capabilities to deliver better services to the American people.”
POPE FRANCIS: HUMAN INTELLIGENCE > AI 🙏
Q: How does the pope make coffee?
A: Hebrews it, duh! ☕️
What happened? Pope Francis publicly expressed that he is more concerned about human intelligence than AI.
What did he say? The pope spoke out against the use of AI to communicate the Gospel. Emphasizing the role of humans in spreading the Christian message, he stated, “Communicating, for us, is not a tactic. It is not a technique. It is not the repetition of catchphrases or slogans. Communicating is an act of love. Only an act of selfless love can produce networks of goodness.” He added, “What worries me—more than artificial intelligence—is natural intelligence, the intelligence that we must develop.”
Why is this significant? For Christians, this message is a reminder that there is a special way of communicating the Gospel that can only be done through humans. Using AI to spread the Christian message, while useful for reaching wider audiences, may not be as effective for real, loving, and hopeful conversations. For non-religious people, these comments are a reminder that humans have a special way of communicating that might never be replaced by AI.
