Good morning! Today, we’re diving into Bill Gates’ vision for human-only jobs and AI breakthroughs for mental health. 🙂
🤯 MYSTERY AI LINK 🤯
This link leads to one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in AI recently.

💬 PROMPT OF THE DAY:
Prepare a conversation with someone who frequently interrupts, dominates, or dismisses others. Use specific examples, explain impact, set expectations, and preserve their valuable contributions.
What’s cookin’? Bill Gates says the world needs to create “human reserved” jobs as AI and robots become powerful enough to take over more work. In a new 6,000-word essay, Gates argues that some roles should be protected from automation, not because machines cannot do them, but because humans should. He compares the idea to nature reserves: places we could build on, but choose to protect because losing them would cost too much. His examples include caregiving, medicine, education, and moments where human judgment, empathy, and trust matter. Gates also warned that governments are not ready for how AI could reshape jobs, schools, taxes, national security, elections, healthcare, and more.
“Imagine a robot giving you the awful news that you have an incurable disease. There’s no technical reason why it couldn’t. Yet it shouldn’t.”
🤔 Hunter’s take: The AI debate is moving from “Can machines do it?” to “Should machines do it?” That’s the more important question. A robot may be able to deliver bad news, teach a child, or care for a dying parent. But efficiency is not the same thing as dignity. The future may depend less on what AI replaces and more on what we decide is worth keeping human.
What’s cookin’? Researchers at Victoria University built an AI tool that can read mental health stories people shared on Reddit and look for signs of what may be driving their struggles. They started with 1 million health-related Reddit threads, then had mental health experts label a smaller sample by theme, such as stress, trauma, relationships, or other root causes. That labeled data was used to train two AI models: PaLM 2 and AutoML. When the models were tested on new posts, PaLM 2 matched human reviewers 80% of the time, while AutoML matched them 68% of the time. The idea is not to have AI diagnose people or replace therapists. It is to help doctors, clinics, and digital health services quickly understand what someone may be dealing with so they can get the right kind of support faster.
🤔 Hunter’s take: Mental health care often starts too late. People may describe anxiety, depression, loneliness, or trauma online long before they ask for help. AI that can notice patterns in people’s own words could help care systems move more quickly.
