What’s up? The U.S. Government is launching the “U.S. Tech Force,” a new program that will place roughly 1,000 engineers and technology specialists inside federal agencies to work on AI and major tech projects.
Want the details? The U.S. Tech Force is a two-year service program where participants report directly to agency leaders and focus on high-impact initiatives like artificial intelligence infrastructure, data modernization, application development, and digital services. The program is designed as a public-private partnership, with major technology companies—including Amazon Web Services, Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, OpenAI, and others—collaborating with government teams.
Why does this matter? This signals a major push to modernize the federal government’s technology capabilities as global competition in AI intensifies, particularly with China. By attracting top technical talent and closely integrating industry expertise into government operations, the U.S. Tech Force could accelerate AI adoption, improve public services, and shape national AI policy for years to come.

KINDLE NOW LETS USERS TALK TO THEIR BOOKS 📚
What’s new? Amazon is rolling out a new AI-powered feature in the Kindle iOS app that lets readers ask questions about their books—directly on the page as they read.
How does it work? Called Ask This Book, the feature allows readers to highlight any passage in a Kindle book and ask questions about plot points, characters, or confusing moments without leaving the app. The AI responds instantly and supports follow-up questions, acting like an on-demand reading companion. In addition, Kindle is introducing a Recaps feature that offers quick summaries of previous storylines.
JEEP JOINS THE AI COMMERCIAL FAD 📺
What’s up? Jeep has launched an advertising campaign built around AI–generated visuals, featuring talking animals.
How does this work? The ads use generative AI to create lifelike but obviously fictional scenes, such as a bear chatting with a reporter through a Jeep window or woodland animals offering reviews of a new Grand Cherokee. Developed with Chicago-based Highdive Studios, the campaign blends AI-generated imagery with human creative direction, editing, and brand oversight. Instead of filming animals, actors, or complex sets, AI tools generate visuals trained on vast libraries of real images, allowing Jeep to produce imaginative content faster and at a fraction of traditional production costs. Experts say it could cut content costs by up to 60% across the auto industry.
Why does this matter? Coca-cola tried and failed, McDonald’s tried and failed, and now Jeep is seeing if they can succeed at AI-generated ads. The decreased costs are hard to ignore for these companies, but the public still seems unready for this shift.
