INTRODUCING CHATGPT HEALTH 🩺

What’s new? OpenAI is launching ChatGPT Health, a dedicated and privacy-focused way to combine your personal health information with ChatGPT to help you better understand and manage your health.

How does it work? ChatGPT Health is a separate space inside ChatGPT designed specifically for health conversations. You can securely connect medical records and wellness apps—such as Apple Health, MyFitnessPal, and others—so responses are grounded in your own data. This allows ChatGPT to explain lab results, summarize health trends, help you prepare for doctor appointments, or think through your diet, exercise, and insurance choices. Health conversations are protected with extra layers of security, stored separately from other chats, and are not used to train AI models. The system was built with extensive input from physicians to prioritize clarity, safety, and appropriate medical guidance.

Why should you care? Health information is often scattered and confusing, leaving people unprepared for important decisions. ChatGPT Health helps bring everything together in one secure place, making it easier to ask questions, spot patterns over time, and have more informed conversations with healthcare providers—without replacing professional medical care.

The Future of Shopping? AI + Actual Humans.

AI has changed how consumers shop, but people still drive decisions. Levanta’s research shows affiliate and creator content continues to influence conversions, plus it now shapes the product recommendations AI delivers. Affiliate marketing isn’t being replaced by AI, it’s being amplified.

SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS ARE NOT HAPPY WITH AMAZON 😡

What’s up? Some online retailers are pushing back after discovering Amazon listed and sold their products through a new AI-powered shopping feature without their permission.

Want more details? Amazon is testing a program called Shop Direct, which lets shoppers browse products from other retailers’ websites directly on Amazon. On some items, a “Buy for Me” button uses an AI agent to place orders on the customer’s behalf by pulling product details, pricing, and availability from public websites. Amazon says the system checks inventory accuracy and does not take a commission, framing the tool as a way to help customers find products Amazon doesn’t carry. However, several businesses say the AI listed incorrect or out-of-stock items and effectively forced them into Amazon’s ecosystem without consent.

PRESCHOOL TEACHERS ARE STARTING TO USE AI 👩‍🏫

What’s up? Preschool teachers use generative AI far less than other K–12 educators, but a new RAND report shows its use is slowly increasing despite limited guidance.

Want more details? According to RAND’s Spring 2025 American Public School Pre-K Teacher Survey of about 2,000 teachers, 29% of preschool teachers report using generative AI, though most use it infrequently. That compares with much higher usage in high school (69%), middle school (64%), and elementary school (42%). Pre-K teachers are cautious, largely because of concerns about developmental appropriateness, screen time, and the risk of reducing social interaction. Still, these teachers are far from tech-averse: nearly all use videos or audio, most use interactive whiteboards, and many rely on digital tools for family communication, curriculum planning, and assessment. We should expect to see this number continue to grow as teachers become more familiar with available AI tools.
