🤯 MYSTERY AI LINK 🤯
This link leads to one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in AI recently.
🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
💬 PROMPT OF THE DAY:
My bedtime changes because of [work/travel/family schedule]. Help me create a flexible 3-step wind-down that can happen at different clock times but uses the same sequence to cue rest.
What’s cookin’? OpenAI has launched ChatGPT for Microsoft Word, bringing its AI directly into the documents people already use every day. Instead of copying text back and forth between Word and ChatGPT, you can now ask it to rewrite sections, summarize long documents, sharpen arguments, organize messy notes, explain contract language, or format drafts without leaving Word. It can also pull in context from connected apps like Outlook, SharePoint, Google Workspace, and Dropbox, meaning it can work with more than just the document sitting in front of you.
🤔 Hunter’s take: This sounds like a small convenience upgrade, but it points to something bigger: AI is disappearing into the software we already use. That matters because the biggest barrier to AI adoption may not be capability anymore — it’s friction. If AI is sitting beside you while you write, edit, and make decisions, using it stops feeling like a separate task and starts becoming part of the workflow itself.
What’s cookin’? OpenAI is working with an independent group of some of the world’s leading mathematicians to help review, interpret, and communicate discoveries made by its increasingly powerful math AI. And there’s a pretty wild reason why: OpenAI says a new internal model has already resolved more than 100 long-standing open math problems, including the famous Navier–Stokes Millennium Prize problem. The progress apparently moved fast enough to surprise OpenAI’s own mathematicians. The new advisory group will help judge how significant these results are, how they should be shared, and how AI should fit into mathematical research.
🤔 Hunter’s take: Most of the AI boom has been about machines helping us use existing knowledge faster. This is something else: AI potentially producing genuinely new knowledge that humans did not already have. If that continues, AI stops being just a tool for finding answers and starts becoming part of the discovery process itself. That could reshape everything from mathematics to physics, medicine, and engineering.
