THE FIRST FULLY AI-AUTOMATED HEALTH FOOD STORE ๐

Green Picks Market is located at the base of Attiva Peachtree at 5255 Peachtree Blvd., Suite 104. It is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
Q: What do you call someone who raps about vegetables?
A: A โbeetโ-boxer ๐คฃ
Whatโs new? Green Picks Market is the first completely AI-automated health food market. It has just opened its first location in Chamblee, metro Atlanta.
How does it work? Customers simply start by scanning a unique QR code to initiate their shopping journey. Then, as they pick their items, they scan the QR codes on the products. Receipts are swiftly delivered through the store's app and email, making the checkout process fast and hassle-free. What sets Green Picks apart is its advanced AI technology that autonomously tracks the placement, movement, and location of every product in the store, ensuring an efficient and smooth shopping experience. While there are employees available to assist customers if needed, they do not handle transactions, and no cash is kept on the premises.
What do they offer? Green Picks Market is committed to providing a wide range of healthy, low-sodium, allergen-free, low-sugar, and GMO-free products, including organic produce, vegan options, deli meats, frozen goods, a bakery section, automated coffee machines, and a selection of ready-to-eat meals.
HIP-HOP STAR QUESTIONS AI USAGE IN COURT ๐ฉโโ๏ธ

Didnโt think weโd be bringing back the Fugees today, did ya? ๐ต
Whatโs going on? Fugees star, Pras Michel, who was convicted in April on ten charges of conspiring to make straw campaign donations, witness tampering, and acting as an unregistered foreign agent for China, is seeking a new trial, raising an interesting allegation: Michel alleges that his defense attorneys employed AI to compile their final argument, leading to what he calls "prejudicial ineffective assistance of counsel."
Want some details? Michel's new legal team argued that his attorney, David Kenner, used an experimental AI program to draft the closing argument of his defense. They further claim that Kenner and his co-counsel had an undisclosed financial stake in the AI program, suggesting a conflict of interest. This AI technology, created by a firm called Eyelevel, purportedly played a significant role in Michel's trial, making history as the first use of generative AI in a federal trial.
FROM IPHONES TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES ๐

Industry transitions are risky, but that is a risk Foxconn is willing to take. ๐คจ
Whatโs happening? Taiwan's Foxconn, known best as the assembler of Appleโs iPhones, is partnering with Nvidia to expand their presence in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Foxconn plans to build AI data factories using technology from Nvidia. With this move, the company envisions a business model similar to its smartphone manufacturing: building EVs for clients worldwide.
Some background? The company unveiled three EV models in 2021 and introduced two more during its recent tech day. This diversification is seen as a smart move by analysts, as the smartphone market has become increasingly saturated. Foxconnโs goal is to produce up to 45% of EVs globally in the long run, and the company believes that its background in consumer electronics gives it an edge in innovating EV products.
Why the partnership? Foxconn's partnership with Nvidia focuses on utilizing AI in its EVs. These large computing systems powered by Nvidia's chips and software will create software platforms for the next generation of EVs, learning from everyday interactions. This strategic partnership between Nvidia and Foxconn might be crucial as Foxconn seeks to become a major player in the EV industry over the next few years.
