OPENAI TAKES ON HOLLYWOOD WITH AI-MADE BLOCKBUSTER 🎬

Image: Vertigo Films

What’s going on? OpenAI is backing an animated film called Critterz to prove generative AI can compete with Hollywood’s biggest productions.

Want the details? The movie, set to premiere in 2026, is being made almost entirely with OpenAI’s own tools, including GPT-5. Produced with partners Native Foreign and Vertigo Films, Critterz is being created on a shoestring by Hollywood standards—less than $30 million and just nine months of production time. Traditional animated films often require several years and hundreds of millions of dollars to complete, making this project a bold experiment in speed and cost efficiency.

Why is this significant? If successful, Critterz could mark a turning point for Hollywood. Studios have been hesitant to embrace AI, citing worries about artistic integrity, intellectual property, and audience pushback. But a high-quality, low-cost AI-driven film would be hard to ignore, potentially reshaping how movies are made and opening the door to new players in the industry.

CHATGPT NOW LETS YOU BRANCH CONVERSATIONS 🌳

What’s new? OpenAI has rolled out a new feature in ChatGPT called conversation branching.

How does it work? The update lets users create parallel threads from any point in a conversation. Instead of starting over or overwriting a chat, you can now hover over a message, click “More actions,” and select “Branch in new chat.” This opens a new thread that carries over the conversation history up to that point while keeping the original discussion intact. It’s a lot like making a copy of a document before making edits—handy for brainstorming or testing different approaches without losing your initial ideas.

Why should you care? Branching removes one of ChatGPT’s biggest limits: being stuck on a single path. Users can now explore multiple “what-if” scenarios side by side, compare outputs, and push projects forward without losing context. It makes ChatGPT more like a brainstorming partner that can juggle many perspectives at once—whether you’re a marketer testing campaign styles, a student working through tough problems, or a researcher weighing competing arguments.

APPLE IS DEVELOPING A SECRET AI SEARCH ENGINE 🍎

What’s up? Apple is developing an AI search engine internally called World Knowledge Answers, which will be integrated into Siri and other iPhone features.

Want the details? The tool reportedly works much like GPT Search or Perplexity. Using large language models, it will let users search the web with text, photos, videos, and even “local points of interest.” Instead of just spitting out links, Siri will provide AI-generated summaries of relevant information. Apple also plans to embed the tool directly into Safari and Spotlight search, giving iPhone users multiple ways to access it.

They’re a private company, but Pacaso just reserved the Nasdaq ticker “$PCSO.”

No surprise the same firms that backed Uber, eBay, and Venmo already invested in Pacaso. What is unique is Pacaso is giving the same opportunity to everyday investors. And 10,000+ people have already joined them.

Created a former Zillow exec who sold his first venture for $120M, Pacaso brings co-ownership to the $1.3T vacation home industry.

They’ve generated $1B+ worth of luxury home transactions across 2,000+ owners. That’s good for more than $110M in gross profit since inception, including 41% YoY growth last year alone.

And you can join them today for just $2.90/share. But don’t wait too long. Invest in Pacaso before the opportunity ends September 18.
