Ever wondered what happens when you give an AI voice agent a phone and 3,000 Irish pubs to call? Between a quest for the perfect pint and Google’s massive new plan to fix your messy inbox, we’ve got a lot to cover today. 😁

This link leads to one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in AI recently.

How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads

For its first CTV campaign, Jennifer Aniston’s DTC haircare brand LolaVie had a few non-negotiables. The campaign had to be simple. It had to demonstrate measurable impact. And it had to be full-funnel.

LolaVie used Roku Ads Manager to test and optimize creatives — reaching millions of potential customers at all stages of their purchase journeys. Roku Ads Manager helped the brand convey LolaVie’s playful voice while helping drive omnichannel sales across both ecommerce and retail touchpoints.

The campaign included an Action Ad overlay that let viewers shop directly from their TVs by clicking OK on their Roku remote. This guided them to the website to buy LolaVie products.

What’s up? Gmail is testing a new feature called “AI Inbox” that helps people quickly spot important emails (like FryAI), tasks, and updates in one organized view.

How does it work? AI Inbox is a new tab on the Gmail interface designed to make busy inboxes easier to manage. It has two main sections. The first, “Suggested to-dos,” pulls out emails that may need action and highlights what matters most, such as paying a bill by a certain date. The second, “Topics to catch up on,” gives short summaries of useful updates from your email, like travel plans, restaurant bookings, or order confirmations. Instead of making users dig through dozens of messages, AI Inbox brings key information together in one place. Right now, the feature is only available to select Google AI Ultra subscribers, but Google says it plans to expand access in the coming months.

Why should you care? Email can be overwhelming, and important messages are easy to miss. AI Inbox could save time, reduce stress, and help people stay on top of what needs attention. Just be sure to keep FryAI in your primary inbox and label it as important.

Are you tracking agent views on your docs?

AI agents already outnumber human visitors to your docs — now you can track them.

What happened? A guy used AI to call about 3,000 pubs across Ireland, collect Guinness prices, and build a live tracker called the “Guinndex,” which is already pushing some bars to lower prices.

Want the details? To gather the data, Matt Cortland created an AI voice agent named Rachel (inspired by Rachel Duffy - famous game show personality) using ElevenLabs and had it call pubs to ask one simple question: how much is a pint of Guinness? He then used Anthropic’s Claude to help organize the results into a public price index that shows average prices and lets users update listings. The tracker found that the average pint cost about €6.01, while the most common price was €5.50. Cortland started the project after paying €7.80 for a Guinness in Dublin and realizing there was no official national price tracking.

Why does this matter? AI is making price transparency easier and faster. Instead of guessing or overpaying, customers can compare prices, and businesses may feel pressure to compete more fairly.
