Hey! So AI detection just took a massive turn, and AI-generated dogs are now promoting movies. Let’s take a look. 🐶

What’s cookin’? Anthropic says new Claude models will mark AI-generated content from day one. For text, Claude will add an invisible, machine-readable watermark directly into the words it generates. You won’t see it, and it should not change the meaning or readability. For files like images, Claude will add signed provenance metadata using the C2PA standard, which can show that a file was processed by Claude and whether it was later changed. These marks will apply across Claude’s main products, API, cloud partners, and regions where supported.

🤔 Hunter’s take: AI content is becoming impossible to spot by sight alone. The big deal here is not that Claude is “solving” AI detection. The bigger shift is that AI companies are starting to build provenance into the content itself, instead of leaving everyone to guess afterward. That could make the internet a little less murky, especially for schools, publishers, social platforms, and businesses trying to understand where content came from. But it also creates a new kind of confusion: AI marks may tell you something touched Claude, not whether it was fake, lazy, dishonest, or fully AI-made. That distinction is going to matter a lot going forward.

What’s cookin’? Warner Bros. is promoting its new sci-fi action movie The End of Oak Street with a fake AI dog podcast called DogPack. The 90-second clip features two AI dog hosts interviewing Starbuck, the movie’s dog, who is also brought to life with strange AI effects. The joke is simple: the dogs talk about Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor like they are trained humans. Warner Bros. shared the clip on social media, where some fans liked the weirdness, while others criticized the studio for using AI in marketing.

🤔 Hunter’s take: This is small, silly, and honestly kind of funny — but it also shows where movie marketing is heading. Studios are testing AI as a cheap way to make endless promo content around a film. The risk is that audiences may start asking a fair question: if the ad feels synthetic, what else about the movie does too?

💬 PROMPT OF THE DAY:

You are advising a team whose next decision depends on getting growth loops and flywheels right. The category-specific focus is the trigger, repeated behavior, value exchange, and compounding mechanism that make the loop self-sustaining. Red-team the proposed approach to growth loops and flywheels using [business model], [revenue target], [current channels], [team capacity], [budget], and [time horizon]. Assume a skeptical customer, a strong competitor, a cautious finance leader, and an overloaded execution team will each challenge it. Surface hidden assumptions, unsupported claims, operational dependencies, ethical or trust risks, and ways the plan could produce a misleading success signal. Rank the vulnerabilities by probability and consequence, then strengthen the plan without making it bloated. Include a pre-mortem, mitigation owner, and trigger for revisiting the decision. Use a ranked table. Do not invent data; label every assumption.
