OPENAI RELEASES NEW AI-POWERED SECURITY TOOL 🔐

What’s up? OpenAI has launched Aardvark, a powerful new AI agent designed to find and fix security bugs in software.

How does it work? Aardvark is like an AI security researcher that never sleeps. It constantly watches over code, scanning for vulnerabilities, understanding how they might be exploited, and proposing specific fixes. Unlike traditional tools, Aardvark uses GPT-5 to read and reason about code like a human. It integrates with GitHub and Codex, validates bugs in a sandbox, and offers ready-to-use patches—all while explaining its findings clearly for human review.

Why does this matter? Software bugs can create huge risks for businesses and society. In 2024 alone, over 40,000 software vulnerabilities were reported. Aardvark helps tip the scales in favor of defenders by catching these problems early. It's currently in private beta, with plans to expand access and even offer pro bono scanning for open-source projects. This could mark a big step forward in digital safety.

What’s new? Canva has launched a powerful new Creative Operating System that helps people design and edit projects more easily, along with new features for emails, forms, apps, and marketing.

How does this work? Canva’s new design tool uses AI to help you make things like social media posts, websites, and presentations just by typing what you want. But instead of giving you a finished picture you can’t change, it gives you a design with movable and editable pieces—so you can easily adjust colors, text, or images. Additionally, the AI assistant works throughout the platform and can help you come up with ideas, generate 3D objects, or match the style of another design. Canva also made it easier to turn spreadsheets into interactive charts, build small apps, design emails, and create online forms. On top of that, it launched a new tool to track how your ads are performing and made the professional Affinity design software completely free.

ADOBE INTRODUCES “SNEAKS” 🤫

What’s new? Adobe revealed new experimental AI tools, called “sneaks,” that let users easily edit videos, photos, and audio in surprisingly intuitive ways, like removing objects across an entire video with one click or changing how someone sounds without re-recording.

What are some notable features?

• Project Frame Forward: Instantly removes or adds objects across an entire video by editing just one frame—no need for manual masking.

• Project Light Touch: Uses AI to adjust lighting in photos, including changing direction, intensity, color, and time of day effects in real time.

• Project Clean Take: Edits speech in audio or video by changing pronunciation, tone, or entire words without re-recording, while keeping the speaker’s voice natural.

Why is this important? These tools could make editing much faster and more accessible, especially for creators who don’t have professional skills.
