🤯 MYSTERY AI LINK 🤯
This link leads to one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in AI recently.
🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
What’s cookin’? Mon Medical Center in Morgantown, West Virginia, became the first hospital in the U.S. to use a new AI-assisted heart procedure technology during treatment for abnormal heart rhythms. The system combines live ultrasound images of the heart with detailed maps of its electrical activity, giving doctors a clearer real-time view during ablation procedures. These procedures are used to treat issues like atrial fibrillation. In the past, doctors had to manually line up these images and maps. Now, AI helps automate that step, which can make the procedure more efficient and precise.
🤔 Hunter’s take: This is not a story about AI replacing doctors; it’s about how AI is coming alongside to aid their expertise. The important part isn’t that AI is “doing surgery.” It’s helping organize complex information in real time so physicians can make better decisions faster to provide great treatment, and that’s awesome.
What’s cookin’? Visa plans to cut about 2,600 jobs, roughly 7% of its workforce, as the company tries to become leaner and redirect money toward faster-growing parts of its business. The cuts are expected to hit mostly technology and product teams. CEO Ryan McInerney said AI is helping change “the way work gets done at Visa,” though the company says AI is not the only reason for the layoffs. Visa wants to invest more in areas like affluent customers, cross-border payments, business payments, stablecoins, and expansion into new markets.
🤔 Hunter’s take: This is one of those stories that shows AI’s real impact may be quieter than people expect. It is not just robots replacing cashiers. It is software helping big companies do technical work faster, with fewer people, while they shift spending toward the most profitable opportunities.
