THIS WEEK’S DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH 💎

A tech outage shocked the world, which means some companies are losing value while others are on the rise. 📈

This week’s diamond in the rough: Palo Alto Networks (PANW).

How is AI helping Palo Alto? Palo Alto Networks, headquartered in Santa Clara, California, serves over 80,000 enterprise customers worldwide. The company leverages what’s called “Precision AI” to counter AI-generated cyber threats. Last week, its rival CrowdStrike (CRWD) caused a global tech outage, leading to a significant drop in its stock price and harming its reputation. As CrowdStrike struggled, Palo Alto seized the opportunity to establish a new base and now looks to capture significant market share.

Want some numbers? After a sharp 28% drop post-February earnings, Palo Alto rebounded, beating expectations in its May report. Analysts forecast the company will surpass $2 billion in revenue next quarter, with a projected 26% growth in earnings for the full fiscal year.

FRY-NANCIAL TOOL OF THE WEEK 🔧

For the record, we don’t receive any compensation for sharing this tool. We just think it is cool! 🤪

What’s the tool? Dispute AI helps users repair personal credit with the help of AI.

How does it work?

  1. Link your credit report: Dispute AI automatically imports and analyzes your 3 bureau credit report, finds negative accounts, and prepares an aggressive dispute strategy.

  2. Let AI create disputes that work: Dispute AI helps you create the right dispute to achieve a permanent deletion. Dispute AI’s algorithm knows that different negative accounts require different dispute strategies. For example, disputing a collection account is different than disputing a bankruptcy.

  3. Track your results: Dispute AI tracks all of your disputes on all 3 credit bureaus. Every month, you’ll receive a progress report showing what accounts were deleted and your new credit scores. You’ll always know what’s going on with your credit repair and credit score.

Featured comments:

“AI is becoming a significant consumer of electricity needing control. AI has many dangerous possibilities that can negatively affect large segments of the population.” (More regulations 👨‍⚖️)

“If it is being used to for national security purposes, government oversight is appropriate. But for general usage and non-military applications, I think less oversight is needed. Just don’t let them go all Cyberdyne Systems/Skynet on us!” (Less regulations 🦾)
