🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
What’s up? YouTube is testing a new search feature called “Ask YouTube” that lets people search in a more natural, conversational way.
How does this work? Instead of typing a few keywords, users can ask a full question in everyday language, like planning a three-day road trip between San Francisco and Santa Barbara. YouTube then gives a broader answer that can include both videos and written text, making the results feel more like a helpful response than a standard search page. Users can also ask follow-up questions or tap suggested prompts to keep exploring the topic. Right now, the experiment is available on desktop for YouTube Premium users in the United States who are 18 or older and searching in English.
Why does this matter? This could make YouTube much easier to use, especially for people looking for detailed answers instead of just individual videos. It also shows how search is becoming more interactive, especially as more people are beginning to prefer video to text.
Protect Client Trust in Volatile Markets
When markets get shaky, advisors don’t just manage portfolios. They manage a surge of client emails, questions, and last-minute meetings. BELAY’s free Financial Advisor’s Delegation Guide shows how better delegation protects responsiveness, reduces bottlenecks, and helps your firm stay client-facing when pressure and volume rise fast across the entire firm.
What’s happening? Japan Airlines is testing humanoid robots at an airport in Tokyo starting next month.
How will this work? The bots are designed to move baggage and cargo. The trial run is expected to last through 2028. These robots can operate for a few hours before needing a recharge, and they could eventually take on other tasks like cleaning out aircraft cabins. Humans will still handle the critical safety jobs, but these humanoids will do the heavy lifting, at least when it comes to your checked items. This comes as Japan is dealing with a surge in tourism and a shortage of workers.
Why does it matter? The reason for this test is not to replace human jobs, but to address labor shortages. However, it seems like a lose-lose for humans. If the bots fail, it could be costly for travelers, who may have delayed flights and misplaced luggage. If the bots succeed, it’s possible this will expand to airports across the globe — potentially impacting millions of jobs.
🚨⭐️ Don’t let AI rot your brain.
