• Apple is going to pay Google around $1 billion a year to power Siri with Gemini, while Apple continues working on its own system. The revamped Siri is expected in spring 2026 and will handle more complex, personalized tasks by tapping into on-screen activity and user data. Despite the upgrade, Apple is keeping Google’s involvement quiet, framing it as a behind-the-scenes solution while it plays catch-up in the AI race. (Read More)

• Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang sparked controversy by initially saying China would win the AI race, citing its low energy costs and fewer regulations, before walking back the statement to emphasize that America must “race ahead.” Huang has long warned that U.S. export restrictions on AI chips could hurt its lead, arguing that keeping global developers reliant on Nvidia’s chips is key. Despite some chip policy discussions with U.S. leaders, Nvidia has now been shut out of China’s market, with Beijing pushing domestic alternatives and possibly using Nvidia’s exclusion as leverage in trade talks. Huang now appears focused on broader growth opportunities while continuing to criticize Western overregulation. (Read More)

• Snapchat is teaming up with Perplexity, an AI-powered search engine, in a $400 million deal to bring AI search directly into the app. Starting early next year, Snapchat users will be able to get instant answers from Perplexity through the My AI chatbot. (Read More)

This smarter, faster development process is fueling more frequent game releases and keeping users active for longer periods—leading to more in-game purchases and stronger engagement across the platform.

Why is Roblox valuable? Despite a recent 10% stock drop, Roblox's numbers show serious momentum. Daily users jumped 70% year over year in Q3, with total hours spent up 91% to nearly 40 billion. That engagement helped drive a 48% increase in revenue and a 103% surge in free cash flow. While increased AI investment may weigh on short-term profits, it sets the stage for long-term growth. Analysts expect Roblox’s free cash flow to rise from $941 million to $3.8 billion by 2029.
