🤯 MYSTERY AI LINK 🤯
This link leads to one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in AI recently.
🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
What’s up? Waymo has temporarily stopped offering robotaxi rides on freeways in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Miami after its vehicles struggled to handle construction zones safely.
Want the details? Waymo says the issue is tied to how its self-driving system performs in complicated highway construction areas, where lanes can shift, cones move traffic, and normal road patterns change. The company is updating its software with what it has recently learned and expects to bring freeway service back soon. For now, its robotaxis are still driving on regular city streets in those markets. This comes shortly after Waymo also paused service in other cities to deal with separate problems, including flooding.
Why does this matter? Freeway driving is a major part of making robotaxis practical in big cities. Highways help shorten trips, connect riders to airports, and make the service more useful overall. So while this pause shows that self-driving technology is improving, it also reminds us that unusual real-world conditions still remain a major challenge.
Your docs are being read by AI. Is yours ready?
Over 50% of traffic across Mintlify's customer base is now AI agents, not humans. If your docs aren't structured for agents, your product is invisible to AI. Mintlify just raised a $45M Series B to build the knowledge layer for the agent era.
What’s new? Google has updated Project Genie so users can build interactive AI worlds based on real U.S. locations using Street View images.
How does it work? Project Genie is an experimental Google tool that creates interactive virtual environments. With this new feature, users can pick a real place from Street View, then add a creative style such as “Ocean World,” “Desert Sands,” or “B&W film.” They can also describe a character, like an animal or comic-book hero, and Genie turns those details into a playable world. For example, someone could explore the Golden Gate Bridge as an underwater scene or imagine a historic Texas location as if it were in the 1920s.
Why should you care? This makes AI-generated worlds feel more connected to real life, which could be useful for creativity, entertainment, and even training AI systems or robots. It also shows how Google is blending real-world data with generative AI in ways everyday users can actually experience.
