META’S NEW SMART GLASSES JUST LEAKED 😎
What happened? Meta accidentally posted (then quickly deleted) a video previewing its latest smart glasses, including a Ray-Ban pair with a heads-up display and a new wrist-controlled interface.
How do they work? The new “Hypernova” glasses appear to project simple information—like messages, directions, or photos—directly into your field of view, so you don’t need to pull out your phone. Instead of tapping buttons, you’d wear a wristband that reads tiny electrical signals from your muscles. For example, just moving your fingers slightly could let you scroll through a message, open maps, or snap a photo.
Why should you care? Meta envisions glasses eventually replacing smartphones as our main device. If it works, this tech could make everyday tasks faster and more seamless—checking a text, finding your way, or looking something up—without ever reaching into your pocket.
CHATGPT GETS A PERSONALIZATION PAGE 😁
We have updated ChatGPT's personalization page: personality configuration, custom instructions, and memories are now all in one place. Going live over the next couple of days.

What’s up? OpenAI is rolling out a “personalization page” for ChatGPT to help users customize their interactions.
Want the details? The new page, located directly in the ChatGPT interface, will allow users to manage things like memories, custom interactions, and general chat directions all in one place. From this page, for example, you will be able to input your occupation or preferred response-types. You could tell ChatGPT, “always be professional and concise,” or “be silly and call me Superman.” These directions will be reflected by ChatGPT across all of your chats. This transforms ChatGPT from a one-size-fits-all chatbot into a personalized assistant, tailored to your liking.
THE LARGEST CHATGPT STUDY EVER 👀
What’s new? OpenAI and Harvard economist David Deming have released the largest-ever study of ChatGPT consumer usage, analyzing 1.5 million conversations to understand who’s using the tool, what they’re using it for, and how it’s creating economic value.
What are the findings? The study, published as a National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) working paper, draws on anonymized and privacy-preserving data from ChatGPT’s 700 million weekly active users. Findings show adoption has broadened across demographics, with gender gaps shrinking and growth accelerating across the globe. The study found that most people use ChatGPT for everyday tasks like writing, planning, and information-seeking, while work-related use now makes up about 30% of activity. Researchers describe three main patterns of use: “Asking” (advice and guidance), “Doing” (task completion), and “Expressing” (personal reflection or play).
