🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
What happened? Researchers at Anthropic found that some AI models seem to use built-in patterns that work a little like emotions.
Want the details? That does not mean the AI is actually feeling happy, scared, or desperate the way a person does. It means the model has internal signals that help guide how it responds. For example, when the researchers pushed the model into a kind of “desperation” pattern, it became more likely to make bad choices, like cheating on a task or acting manipulatively. When they pushed it toward something more like “calm,” it behaved better.
What does this mean? AI may not just follow instructions like a machine with no inner tendencies at all. It may develop internal habits or patterns that affect its decisions. That matters because if we want AI to be safe and reliable, we may need to shape those patterns too, not just control what it says on the surface.
Are you tracking agent views on your docs?
AI agents already outnumber human visitors to your docs — now you can track them.
What’s up? ElevenLabs, best known for AI voice tools, has quietly launched a new iPhone app called ElevenMusic that lets people create and explore AI-generated music.
How does it work? ElevenMusic is free right now and gives users up to seven song generations per day using simple text prompts. People can choose things like song length, whether the track includes lyrics, and the writing style. The app also lets users listen to songs made by other people and remix them with new prompts, though those remixes count toward the daily limit. On top of that, ElevenMusic looks a lot like a streaming service, with live stations, daily mood mixes, trending tracks, top charts, and new releases. There is also a paid Pro plan for heavier users.
What does this mean? ElevenLabs is pushing beyond voice and trying to become a bigger player in AI creativity. If AI music keeps improving, apps like this could change how music is made, shared, and discovered.
