🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
What’s cookin’? Pinterest is rolling out several new AI tools designed to make shopping, advertising, and product discovery more personalized:
Business Assistant: An AI helper inside Pinterest Ads Manager that gives advertisers trend insights, campaign guidance, performance updates, and visual examples of Pins they could promote.
Pinterest MCP: A new system that connects Pinterest data to outside AI marketing tools, so brands can use Pinterest’s trend, campaign, keyword, and intent signals without constantly switching platforms.
Pinterest Performance+ Creative: An AI ad tool that tests different creative assets and chooses the version most likely to perform best for each person.
Ask Pinterest: A limited-access experimental app for conversational shopping help, such as planning a dinner party, finding a personal gift, or furnishing a room over time.
🤔 Hunter’s take: Pinterest already plays a unique role online: people go there when they want inspiration, not just information. They search for outfits, recipes, home designs, party ideas, and future purchases before they know exactly what they want. These AI tools could make Pinterest more useful by helping people actually act on that inspiration. Instead of just saving ideas to a board and figuring it out later, users may be able to ask for help, compare options, and move from “I like this vibe” to “here’s what I should buy or do next.”
From idea to shipped tool in 11 minutes.
Type the problem in Slack. Viktor writes the code, deploys to your subdomain, posts the URL, and starts using it on your next request. No specs, no Jira, no kickoff. Founders are running entire companies this way.
What’s cookin’? Google researchers say their medical AI system, AMIE, is moving beyond helping with diagnosis and toward helping manage health conditions over time. Instead of only answering “What might this patient have?”, AMIE is designed to help track symptoms across multiple visits, review updated medical guidelines, and suggest structured care plans. It uses two AI agents: one that talks with the patient in a natural, empathetic way, and another that quietly reasons through clinical guidelines, drug information, past conversations, and treatment options. In a blinded study with patient actors, specialists compared AMIE with primary care doctors and found that AMIE matched clinicians in overall management reasoning while scoring higher in areas like precise treatment planning and guideline alignment.
🤔 Hunter’s take: The important shift here is that medical AI is moving from “What’s wrong with me?” to “What do we do next?” Diagnosis gets most of the attention in the AI space, but care is where patients actually live: managing symptoms, changing medications, following guidelines, and making decisions over weeks or months. If AI can help with that responsibly, it could become less like a medical search tool and more like a second set of eyes helping doctors keep care on track.
