GRAMMY-NOMINATED ARTISTS MAKE AI MUSIC ALBUM 🎶

What happened? ElevenLabs, the AI voice startup, has released The Eleven Album—a full-length AI-generated music project made with Grammy-nominated musicians who keep full rights and 100% of their streaming revenue.

Want the details? The album was created using ElevenLabs’ new Eleven Music model, which allows artists to co-produce songs with AI in a way that respects their creative control. Musicians like Liza Minnelli, Art Garfunkel, and Emily Falvey helped create original tracks for the album, using the tech to generate sounds, beats, and even vocal layers. ElevenLabs emphasizes that this is the first major AI music project where artists lead the process and keep all profits.

Why does this matter? AI-generated music is booming—sometimes even topping the charts—but it’s also raising concerns about copyright, deepfakes, and fair pay. By giving artists ownership and control, ElevenLabs is trying to prove that AI music doesn’t have to mean losing your rights. Instead, it can be a tool for creative empowerment.

META CRACKS DOWN ON TEENS USING AI 😯

What’s up? Meta is temporarily turning off access to its AI characters for teens across all its platforms while it develops a safer, updated version. This comes after OpenAI updated their own safety guidelines for teens.

Want more details? These AI characters are chatbot-style personas—modeled after celebrities or fictional roles—that users can chat with inside apps like Instagram and Facebook. Meta launched them to make conversations more engaging and fun, but they’ve raised concerns among parents and regulators. The pause comes just before a major trial where Meta is accused of failing to protect teens online. The company says the new version will include parental controls, give age-appropriate answers, and stick to safe topics like school, sports, and hobbies.

Why does this matter? As AI gets built into more apps teens use every day, it’s crucial those tools are safe and supervised. Meta’s move shows growing pressure on tech companies to create digital experiences that actually protect young users.
