SUNO V3 IS CHANGING MUSIC 🎵

Q: What type of songs do planets sing?

A: Nep-tunes. 🔭

What’s new? Suno version 3 has been released for public use with free credits available to new users, and it is changing the way people make AI music.

How does it work? AI music generation tools have been around for some time, but nothing like Suno v3. From a simple text prompt, Suno is able to create a song up to two minutes long, including high-quality background music and unique vocals. For example, users can type a text prompt such as, “A country song about Fry Guy and his love for artificial intelligence,” and Suno v3 will generate exactly that, writing up lyrics based on the prompt and finding a human-sounding voice which matches the mood.

What’s the point? This new tool represents how AI is changing the way humans interact with music creation and with other forms of art, making it easier for advanced creators to edit their music and raise the quality of their content. Additionally, tools like this one allow people to create music who would otherwise never have the skills or equipment necessary to do so.

SPOTIFY INTRODUCES AI PLAYLIST FEATURE 🎧

Next time you’re looking for the right song to fit the mood, you can just ask AI. 🦾

What’s new? Building on the success of its AI DJ feature, Spotify has introduced a tool that crafts curated playlists based on simple text descriptions.

How does it work? Accessible through the ‘Your Library” section of the Spotify app, the AI Playlist feature allows users to input prompts like, "I’m going out for a night on the town with the girls and want to feel like a powerful queen,” or “It’s a rainy day, and I need some music while I read,” and from there, the AI will produce a finely tuned selection of about 30 tracks. Impressively, the AI Playlist feature goes beyond basic prompts, recognizing references to genres, moods, artists, and even movie characters. The ability to refine playlists with additional prompts ensures a customized listening experience.

“Whether you’re a beginner or an expert playlist creator, AI Playlist pairs our powerful personalization technology with AI to deliver that perfect musical mix, just for you.”

JPMORGAN CHASE CEO LIKENS AI TO ELECTRICITY ⚡️

Q: Why did the football coach go to the bank?

A: To get his quarterback. 🏈

What’s up? In his annual letter to shareholders, Jamie Dimon, the esteemed CEO of JPMorgan Chase, spotlighted AI as a pivotal topic.

What was said? In his letter, Dimon outlined the transformative potential of AI in reshaping not just banking but society as a whole. He said, “While we do not know the full effect or the precise rate at which AI will change our business—or how it will affect society at large—we are completely convinced the consequences will be extraordinary. [The impact will be] possibly as transformational as some of the major technological inventions of the past several hundred years: Think the printing press, the steam engine, electricity, computing and the Internet.”

What is the significance? This letter from one of the most prominent and respected CEOs in the business world reflects the transformative potential AI has and the willingness of business leaders to adopt its power. JPMorgan Chase has been leading the AI charge in the banking industry, with over 2,000 AI and machine learning experts employed and a plethora of AI applications in the works, ranging from fraud detection to customer service functions.
