This link leads to one of the most interesting things I’ve seen in AI recently.
🛠️ NEW AI TOOLS 🛠️
What’s up? OpenAI is testing a new personal finance feature in ChatGPT that lets users connect their financial accounts, view their money in one dashboard, and ask questions based on their real financial situation. It’s currently being tested with Pro users in the U.S.
How does it work? Users can link accounts through Plaid inside ChatGPT on web or iOS, with support for more than 12,000 financial institutions. Once connected, ChatGPT can show spending, subscriptions, investments, upcoming bills, and other financial details in one place. People can also share personal goals, like saving for a car or paying off debt, so ChatGPT can give more tailored help. OpenAI says users stay in control: ChatGPT cannot move money or see full account numbers, accounts can be disconnected at any time, and synced data is deleted within 30 days after disconnecting.
Why should you care? Managing money is often confusing because information is spread across many apps and accounts. This could make personal finance simpler by helping people see the full picture and ask practical questions in plain language. It may help with budgeting, planning, and decision-making. However, questions loom about trusting OpenAI/ChatGPT with sensitive financial info.

What’s up? Memoket has launched as a new AI wearable: a lightweight wristband that listens to all your conversations throughout the day, creates instant summaries, and connects information across multiple discussions.
Want the details? The device is designed to be worn on your wrist or alongside an Apple Watch, and Memoket says you can start recording with a single tap. According to the company, it uses dual microphones, noise reduction, and voice enhancement to capture speech, then turns that audio into summaries, action items, and searchable context within an app. The system can also work with apps like ChatGPT, Claude, Notion, Slack, Gmail, Outlook, and calendar tools.
What does this mean? The big idea is simple: instead of trying to remember every meeting, lecture, family conversation, or doctor visit, the device helps keep track of what was said and what needs to happen next. That could save time, reduce mental overload, and make AI feel more useful in everyday life. But with AI listening to every conversation, it brings up pressing questions about consent from others, where this data is stored, and whether AI recording has gone too far.
