What’s cookin’? OpenAI just released ChatGPT Images 2.5, a new image model built into ChatGPT — designed to make AI images sharper, faster, and easier to edit. The biggest upgrade is control. It can better preserve faces, pets, products, lighting, textures, and layouts from reference photos, while changing only the part you actually ask it to change. OpenAI says generation is also up to 50% faster than Images 2.0. ChatGPT is also adding a feature called Sketch, which lets you draw a rough idea directly in the app, plus templates for things like posters, product photos, and merch. Developers also get two API models: Flare for faster everyday image work and Sunburst for more detailed creative projects.

🤔 Hunter’s take: AI image tools are moving from “make me something cool” to “help me create the thing in my head.” That sounds small, but it’s huge. The real breakthrough is not just prettier images. It’s fewer annoying re-dos, better edits, and less creative friction.

What’s cookin’? Meta just introduced Muse, a personal AI agent designed to do more than answer questions. It can actually take action for you. You can ask it to send emails, book travel, fill out forms, build plans around long-term goals, or even negotiate bills. Muse runs inside a secure cloud computer called Muse Secure VM, where the agent and your connected data live separately from everyone else’s. Importantly, Muse asks for approval before sensitive actions like purchases or sending emails.

🤔 Hunter’s take: We are experiencing a shift where AI stops being a search box and starts becoming a middleman for everyday life. That’s the part people should pay attention to. The future of AI may not be one giant robot replacing your job. It may be a thousand tiny life decisions quietly outsourced to software. That can be convenient, but if Muse works, Meta won’t just know what you like, watch, and click. It could also know what you meant to do, what you keep putting off, and which tasks you’re willing to hand over.
