OPENAI IS EXPLORING AI-POWERED HEALTH PRODUCTS 🩺

What’s going on? OpenAI is reportedly exploring its own consumer health products, such as a personal health assistant or a tool to bring all your medical records into one place.

Want the details? ChatGPT already has 800 million weekly users, many of whom use it to ask health questions. The company recently hired top leaders in healthtech, and it may partner with existing medical data platforms to avoid the privacy and data-sharing issues that have sunk past efforts. If successful, these tools could put advanced healthcare into the hands of everyone.

Why should you care? Managing your health data today is messy and frustrating. If OpenAI can simplify that using AI while keeping your information secure, it could change how millions of people make decisions about their health and care.

Stop Fraud Before Fulfillment

Post-purchase fraud is rising, slipping past checkout tools and draining retail profits. Chargeflow Prevent blocks fraud after payment but before fulfillment, cutting disputes by 90% with <0.1% false positives.

ROBINHOOD LETS REGULAR PEOPLE INVEST IN AI STARTUPS 💰

What’s new? Robinhood, the investing platform, is launching a new fund that lets everyday investors put money into private AI companies—something usually only very wealthy people and big institutions can do.

How will this work? The fund will invest in a small group of fast-growing AI startups, like OpenAI and Anthropic, whose private valuations have soared. These companies aren’t publicly traded, and many aren’t making a profit yet. The fund will be closed-end, meaning investors won’t be able to pull their money out whenever they want.

Why should you care? This is a big shift. Wall Street firms are now trying to get more money from regular investors, not just the wealthy. It could open doors, but also open wallets to big risks.

AMAZON LAUNCHES “KINDLE TRANSLATE” 🗣️

What’s new? Amazon has launched a new AI-powered tool called Kindle Translate that allows select Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) authors to easily translate their books into new languages.

How does it work? Currently in beta, Kindle Translate supports translations between English and Spanish, and from German to English. Authors can select their target language, review or auto-publish the translated version, and make it available on Amazon within days. The tool is free for authors and uses AI to check accuracy before publication. Books translated with this service are labeled clearly in the Kindle store, and samples are available for readers to preview.

Why does this matter? Only a small percentage of Kindle books are available in multiple languages. Kindle Translate opens the door for independent authors to grow their audience and income by reaching readers around the world without paying expensive translation fees. It’s a major step toward making literature more accessible across language barriers.
