ALTMAN AND HUFFINGTON LAUNCH AI HEALTH STARTUP 🏋️‍♂️

Did you hear Cardi B has been going to the gym? Now people are calling her Cardi O. 😆

What’s new? OpenAI CEO Sam Altman and Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington have teamed up to launch Thrive AI Health, a startup aimed at leveraging AI for improved behavioral health. The company named DeCarlos Love, a former Google executive, as CEO.

How does it work? Thrive AI Health seeks to develop an AI-driven health coach that utilizes “hyper-personalization” to enhance habit formation and behavior change. This will take the form of an app that monitors key daily behaviors, such as sleep, nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and social connection. By integrating biometric data and personal preferences, Thrive AI Health’s app will offer tailored recommendations for better sleep, diet, stress management, social habits, and more. For instance, the AI health coach might suggest an earlier bedtime before a busy travel day, syncing health advice with a user’s calendar.

“Every aspect of our health is deeply influenced by the five foundational daily behaviors of sleep, food, movement, stress management, and social connection. And AI, by using the power of hyper-personalization, can significantly improve these behaviors.”

NICOLAS CAGE FREAKS OUT OVER AI 😳

AI is a “national treasure” Nicolas Cage wants no part of. 😅

What’s going on? Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage is freaking out over AI’s usage in film.

What did he say? AI has been shown to recreate the image, voice, and likeness of politicians, celebrities, and actors. This has Nicolas Cage a bit freaked out. He stated, “It is [really scary]. And it makes me wonder, you know, where will the truth of the artists end up? Is it going to be replaced? Is it going to be transmogrified? Where’s the heartbeat going to be? I mean, what are you going to do with my body and my face when I’m dead? I don’t want you to do anything with it!” A bit dramatic, am I right?

BRINGING AI TO THE PULPIT ⛪️

Q: Did you hear about the bodybuilding priests?

A: They’ve got great muscle “mass.” 💪

What’s new? A new AI platform, Pulpit AI, is launching to the public on July 22 to assist pastors in sermon delivery and content creation.

How does it work? Designed by a duo of pastors, Pulpit AI enables churches to upload sermons in various formats—audio, video, manuscript, or outline—and automatically generate related content such as devotionals, discussion questions, newsletters, and social media posts. This aims to streamline the communication process, saving church staff significant time and effort. The creators are sure to emphasize that the content will not go off script, stating, “The way our app is built, what you put into it is what it creates from … We’re not adding any commentary. We’re not adding any exegesis or anything to the app that would veer off into creating something that wasn’t the original intent of the person who wrote and uploaded the sermon to our app.” This ensures a consistent and intentional message across all forms of media. The creators believe this tool will help extend the life and impact of sermons beyond Sunday services, enhancing discipleship without a hefty investment of time or money. With the AI-powered app, pastors can focus more on their ministry while ensuring their messages resonate throughout the week.
